If you think about Italian, one thing it will pop up in your mind is Coffee, Espresso. Coffee or caffe is part of Italian culture for long time. It introduced to Italy in the 1500s and arrive first time in the port of Venice or Venezia. It never left Italian since then and become one of symbol of Italian culture.

The most imoprtant coffee in Italin is Espresso. Espresso is not particular coffee bean or type of roast. It is a method to brew finely ground and compacted very fast with hot water at very high pressure. ( Poggiolo,2017)
Espresso considered as a small shot of coffee known as ” un coffee” in Italian.
Cappucino is equal part of Espresso, steamed milk and foamed milk.
Macchiato is shot of Espresso with small foam of milk.
Caffe Latte is Espresso with more steamed milk and less foam.
If you order only Latte, you will get only milk becasue Latte means milk in Italian.
Caffe corretto means correct coffee. It means shot of Espresso with splash of alchohol, such as Grappa, and Sambuca.

Italian people said that no milk after full stomach.
